Description
Mohan’s Precast USA, Inc. successfully fabricated custom precast quoins for this NYCSCA emergency replacement project, executed under an expedited contract due to urgent site conditions. The scope of work required rapid turnaround, precise coordination, and immediate approvals, all of which were expertly managed to meet the accelerated schedule. To match the existing historic brownstone on site, the precast quoins were custom colored and finished with a chiseled face texture, ensuring seamless visual integration with the surrounding masonry. Each quoin was engineered and manufactured as a single-piece unit, providing superior structural integrity compared to segmented assemblies traditionally installed in the field. Mohan’s Precast USA, Inc. also provided engineering expertise to design the precast units to accommodate vertical load-bearing requirements, ensuring long-term performance, safety, and durability. Despite the extremely short lead time, all units were fabricated, approved, and delivered with precision and consistency.
